SNS College of Engineering: Admission 2025, Fees, Rankings, Scholarship, Coimbatore

Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai the SNS College of Engineering laid its foundation in the year 2007. It is an Autonomous institution that has been approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC and NBA. The institute runs with the vision to incorporate quality education of global standards among the students to make them knowledgeable and skilled professionals. It aims at providing an encouraging environment for the students to acquire technical knowledge.

The institute offers certain Post Graduate programs such as ME, MBA, and M. Tech. The Under-Graduate courses that are offered are B. Tech and BE with various disciplines namely:

The candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG Programs at the College must undergo the admission procedure laid down by the Department of Technical Education (DoTE) and Anna University. A candidate may apply through the Government Quota (single window counseling procedure) or the Management Quota (direct admission following the eligibility criteria).

Eligibility Criteria

• For the UG Students: Candidates are expected to score a minimum of 45% marks (for the OC category students) / 40% marks ( for the BC, MBC, and SC / ST category students) in class 12^th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• For the PG Students: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks (for the OC category students) / 45% marks (for the BC, BCM, MBC, SC – Arunthathiyar, and SC / ST category students) in the qualifying examinations.

*Note: Candidates belonging to States other than Tamil Nadu will be considered from the OC category irrespective of their community.

Documents Required: Certain documents have to be submitted during admission by the candidates, namely:

• 10^th and 12^th Mark Sheets
• Transfer Certificate
• Community Certificate
• First Graduate Certificate (if any)
• Diploma / UG Degree Mark Sheet (for PG Students only)

The SNS Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and SNS Performance Evaluation Test (PET) are the exams that the candidates seeking to avail the benefits of scholarships are expected to clear. Any candidate that scores ≥ 80% in the respective tests will be eligible to receive the said scholarship. In case the candidates maintain an 8.0 CGPA through the course duration then they are eligible to avail the benefits of the scholarships for all 4 years of the academic program.

Another Category of Scholarships that are offered to the students (without the SAT / PET Exams) are as follows:

• Project 22 (A) – 100% Scholarship (full fee waiver) is provided to the top 2 students from any department with a ≥ 175 cut-off in 12^th class.
• Project 22 (B) – 100% off on the Tuition Fee is provided to the candidates that score ≥ 175 cut-off in 12^th class.
