SNS College of Engineering hostel food is of good quality and served in a hygienic environment at fixed times.
From 7:30 am to 8:30 am breakfast is served to the residents.
Lunch starts from 12:55 pm to 1:55 pm.
Refreshments are served from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Finally, dinner is served from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm.

The hostel ensures the overall development of the students and the students are provided with responsibilities to make them an active part of the functioning of the hostel through the hostel committee.

SNS College of Engineering hostel rules:
The entry of day scholars is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises and will lead to a fine if caught.
Only students with prior permission from the administration will be allowed.
Consumption or possession of any kind of drugs or intoxicants including alcohol or cigarettes is strictly forbidden and if caught, will lead to serious consequences. The students will be dismissed without any inquiry.
In any case, only at the end of an academic year, the students are provided permission to vacate the hostels.
Food wastage is strictly prohibited in the hostel.
The students must follow the timings specified by the hostel authorities while watching the television.
The hostel permits the entry of the residents only till 7:30 pm. Once the gate is closed, no student is provided an entry.
