Hostel life in NIST is one of the best thing ever. Food of hostel is average. But other facilities in hostel like 24 hrs water, current, and Wi-Fi is available. Hostel have 4 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. After first year if you have secured a good CGPA one can get single sharing room. Cleanses is the best in the hostel. There are 3 hostels in NIST among which 2 are for boys and 1 is for girls. Hostel is quite strict for girls as its last entry time is 7 pm and for boys it is 9 pm. Well, the college hostel is average and we do not have an excellent quality of food. The rooms are quite small and three people have to stay in a single room, which is tough during summer.
I have personally never stayed at the hostel but as most of my friends stay at the hostel. Therefore, I have got an idea about our college hostel because I have visited our college hostel several times.

The best thing about our college hostel is you can freely move and don't have to worry about ragging because we have a Ragging free campus. Well, the hostel provides food 4 times a day and there is a separate place for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The teachers and seniors living in the hostel are supportive and always are ready to provide you guidance at each and every step. Overall, the hostels are quite good and clean except for the congested rooms.Read Full Review
