The Amrith Educational and Cultural Society (AECS) Maaruti College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre started operations during the year 1992 from India’s Karnataka’s state’s capital city, Bangalore. The College is a private, coeducational, dental college that was set up under the aegis of the Amrith Educational & Cultural Society. The College enjoys the affiliation of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). Also, the Center has the accreditation of the Dental Council of India.
Besides, the College has the approval of the Government of Karnataka, as well as the Union Government of India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare that is based at New Delhi.
The aspirants can avail courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in several dental specialties, at the College. In addition to imparting value-added education, the Center imbibes ethical values in the pupils, too.
The College strives to achieve a healthy balance of Eastern and Western dental health sciences. Also, in the pursuit of achieving academic excellence in dental education, there is focus on the pupils’ holistic development.

There are 2 founders of the College Smt. V. Geetha Devi is the College’s Chairperson and a qualified educationist. Sri. R. Venkatesh is the College’s Secretary-cum-Treasurer, having several years of expertise in conducting professional courses in the rural areas of Kolar district.
As part of the AECS Maaruti Dental College Bangalore admission procedure, there are counseling rounds that the Karnataka Examining Authority (KEA) conducts. Based on their performance in these sessions, the candidates get admissions in the College’s respective courses. Even so, the candidates have to clear the NEET exam to be eligible for the College’s BDS and MDS courses.
At the College’s library, the students can access a host of educational resources. There are dental reports and journals on dentistry for reference purposes. Undeniably, the library is well-stocked, spacious, and fully automated.
AECS Group of Institutions
The College comes under the banner of the AECS Group of Institutions. The Group commenced operations under the aegis of societies such as the Sri Bharathiya Vidyarthyi Nilaya Education Society and the Amrith Educational & Cultural Society. The former was registered during the year 1973; and the latter, in the year 1982.
Over the years, both societies have worked to provide education to rural and urban youths. In fact, they offer programs covering primary school education to post-graduation levels, and in a host of disciplines. That said, they adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to empower the students via the medium of education.
