It is not permitted to temper with the walls, fixtures, or furniture, drag nails on them, or damage the hostel property.
The hostel administration isn’t liable for any loss of personal property suffered by residents.
Students are advised not to keep additional cash or valuables in their rooms for their safety. The residents are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings.
All trash, including paper waste, has to be disposed of in appropriate containers.
None of the hostel residents are allowed to engage in unpleasant activities like ragging that can disrupt the harmony in the residence.
It is advised that students should refrain from singing loudly, screaming, and creating any type of noise that could disturb others.
Intoxicants, radios, tape recorders, and sound systems are not permitted in the hostel.
All hostellers are required to return to the hostel by 9 pm.
The residents are not allowed to leave the hostel or spend the night anywhere else apart from their respective hostel rooms without the warden's written consent.
The visitors must exit the hostel premises by 8 pm as they are not permitted to spend the night in the hostel without the warden's prior approval.
The visitors and friends of the hosteller are allowed in the common area or the mess. However, the Warden may grant permission for them to enter the room of their respective ward.
Unknown guests are reported to the authorities if they are seen wandering around the hostel grounds without a visitors’ pass.
Table lamps are attached to the available electrical outlets in each room. Students are encouraged to save electricity and thus are advised to avoid using the lamps and the room lights at the same time.
