Maharaja Agrasen College New Delhi Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

I chose Maharaja Agrasen College because it offered a B.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences, which includes Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, and Computer Science. It seemed like the perfect degree for someone aspiring to excel in Data Science, and I saw it as opportunity to build a strong foundation in these fields. My experience at the college has been positive. Since my primary interest was in Statistics, I was fortunate to have an excellent professor in the first year who not only taught the course but also introduced us to R-programming. This additional exposer greatly impressed me and enriched my learning experience, while I didn't know much about Operational Research initially. I was guided by a great mentor who made the subject approachable and engaging. They also ensured we applied our knowledge practically using tools like Excel for all our practical assignments. As a result, I have developed strong skills in both of these features. I would definitely recommend this program to the other students. Even though it's program degree and not an honors course, it offers substantial learning opportunities. The course allows you to choose between two pathways - Statistics or Computer Science alongside Mathematics and OR. I opted for Statistics because I genuinely love the subject, and I would encourage others to consider the same combination.Read Full Review

My course is B.Com (Hons.) and I chose this course because I have interest in Finance. The campus life in Maharaja Agarsen college is amazing. Teachers and faculty are always available for you. We also have a nice big auditorium and fests/functions happen regularly. Placement is also nice in this college.Read Full Review

The Maharaja Agrasen College has great infrastructure. There are various facilities available like library, auditorium, girl’s common room and basket ball court etc. Most of the faculty members teach nicely. Fests and cultural program are held in the college from time to time. There are many different societies like the drama society, national cadet corps, dance society and art society etc. Its placements are good; companies like Infosys, Wipro and Lenskart come for recruitment.Read Full Review
