IIIT Bangalore Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Located in the Electronic City (Bangalore), the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Bangalore) provides scholars with a lush green residential campus with modern architecture. The hostels also accommodate foreign students opening up all the students to a diversified cultural exchange.

IIIT Bangalore has two blocks for Boys’ Hostel and two blocks for Girls’ Hostel, namely

• Lilavati Hostel (Girls) has 179 rooms that are furnished completely and has a single-person capacity in each room.
• Bhaskara Hostel (Boys) has 754 private rooms with single-person occupancy.
• Vishveshwaya Hostel (Boys) has 76 rooms with shared capacity.
• The rooms in all the hostels are provided with a small bed, chair, table, cupboard, fan, and tube light.

*iMTech 1^st and 2^nd-year students are provided with shared rooms only.

IIIT Bangalore has a mess dining facility provided to the students in their respective hostels.

IIIT Bangalore follows a proper code of conduct in the hostels such as:

• The accommodation period is predefined by the authorities. After the duration is over, the students are needed to vacate the space.
• Rooms once allotted cannot be changed unless under special circumstances.
• The students are responsible for the upkeep of their rooms.
• The electrical appliances are to be switched off when not in use.
