Joginpally BR Engineering College: Admission 2025, Fees, Rankings, Hyderabad

In the year 2002, the Joginpally B.R. Engineering College (JBREC) commenced operations. The College campus is in Hyderabad, Telangana. The JBREC has the affiliation of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University that is located in Hyderabad as well. Also, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved the Institute. Besides, the College has the accreditation of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The JBREC courses are inclusive of the undergraduate B.Tech courses and postgraduate M.Tech ones.

The JBREC comes under the J.B. Group of Educational Institutions. The Group’s sponsoring body is the J.B. Educational Society that started functioning from the year 1993 onwards. In fact, the Group was the vision of Sri Bhaskar Rao who contributed to setting up the Group’s various educational institutions. Indeed, the Group includes several Engineering Colleges, Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Women’s Engineering Colleges and institutes.

In fact, the Group aims to provide value-added professional education to Telangana’s youth population. More so, the Society offers free education to the destitute classes for empowering them via the medium of education. Also, the Society, over the years, has been striving to achieve academic excellence in several fields: Information Technology, Hospitality, Management, Medicine, and Engineering.

Further, the JB Group focuses on Skill Development – such as Life Skill and Professional skills. For the same, there are experiential and activity-based programs that the Group conducts. In turn, the pupils develop into globally-competitive professionals, as well as socially-responsible individuals.

The JBREC’s vision is to become a leading institution, specializing in Education and Research in the fields of Management and Engineering.                               

Additionally, the College’s Mission is to offer technical and professional education for the purpose of creating a resource pool of competent professionals. Also, there are efforts to collaborate with research houses and industries for excelling in areas of Research.

At JBREC, the pupils can avail the Jawaharlal Knowledge Center too. Here, they can hone their Interactive Communication and Technical Skills. In the process, they can improve their employability skills and secure lucrative placements in both national and international markets.

Further, as part of the academics at JBREC, there are Seminars and National Conferences that are hosted regularly. These initiatives offer opportunities for the students to interact with industry leaders.

To impart practical education, there are workshops that are organized too.

Furthermore, the JBREC has developed the campus with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. Having said that, the JBREC Library is well-stocked too. In fact, the Library spans over 1410 square meters contain various sections. Also, there are 6 departmental libraries. Moreover, there is the Open Access system for the users to have easy access to the educational resources.

Besides, there is a large collection of National and International  Journals that the Library boasts of. Similarly, there is an array of books, newspapers, question papers, CD ROMs, journals/periodicals, volumes, titles, project reports, and back volumes.

Additionally, the various Library services include Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), Digital Library, Newspaper Clipping, Cataloguing, Lending, and Reference ones. Apart than that, there are Text Book, Current Awareness, Book Bank, Photocopying and Inter-Library Loan Services.

JBREC Admissions

The JBREC admission procedure ensues on the basis of the candidates’ scores in the state-level entrance exams and web-based counseling rounds.

For B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA admissions, the candidates’ scores in the TS EAMCET exam, TS PGECET / GATE exam, and TS ICET exam are taken into consideration, respectively. All the same, the applicants have the choice of applying under the state-level or institute-level quota.

JBREC State-Level Quota Admissions

If applying via the state-level quota, then the aspirants who have appeared for the entrance examinations can register for the web-based counseling rounds. To apply for the entrance exams, the candidate has to access the relevant application form from the official websites of the concerned authorities.

Then, after the counseling dates are announced, the applicant has to appear for the verification process at the helpline centers where the authenticity of the educational documents is checked by the relevant authorities.

Moreover, they have to tender the registration fee for counseling via the online modes of payment.

During the web-based counseling rounds, the aspirants have to furnish their choices of Colleges and Institutes. Thereafter, based on the candidates’ preferences and overall performance, they are allotted seats in the College. Besides, they are given the final allotment letter that they have to submit when they visit the College for completing the rest of the admission process.

JBREC Management Quota Admissions

On the other hand, if applying in the Management quota, then the application forms for the B.Tech courses have to be downloaded from the College website. Then, the aspirant must duly fill in the required particulars in the Application Form. The subsequent step is to submit the filled Application Form, along with other necessary documents, at the College office.
