Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology Salt Lake City Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our college is 100+ years old. I expected some repairing every once in awhile, but that didn't happen. However, you will not be facing any problem after getting here. We have an average library for everyone. You will get enough books for your semester.

As this college contains only three streams, we don't have many students here. But they are so friendly, that it feels like we’re a family. When the sports festival is arranged on our small ground, it is filled with energy and enjoyment. We have some special clubs like robotics, music, dance, etc. This year our student body arranged a cultural fest which was the best fest of all time in our college. GCELT have a beautiful and adorable campus that is full of green environment. The chanting of birds, fallen leaves and shadowing trees are enough to melt anyone’s heart. The campus has quite a perfect area and the location is also best in Kolkata because it's situated in the Salt Lake, Sector- 3.

I have just ended my 1st year and I enjoyed a lot. The fests, campus life, and clubs are amazing. I have only joined the Robotics club but there are several more clubs also. The college has a huge playground. There is a cricket pitch, football court, volleyball court, and badminton court in the college campus. The college has a huge RFID facilitate library with more than 18000 books, 16 national journals and 12 international journals. Wi-Fi is also available in the college.

The Campus is small but calm and peaceful so you will enjoy a lot. The crowd is less. Here fests are very special for us. Mainly three fests are held in a year. Sports fest in January, tech fest in September and the main fest which is the cultural fest in March. Everybody waits for the fests. Many clubs like photography, robotics, sports, tech and more are present in the college and the students are free to join them.Read Full Review
