The Training and Placement Cell of GIET University was developed to monitor the growth and development of students in order to make them industry ready with the right balance of professional and academic skills for their better placements. The regular visits of Alumni within the campus assists the University in boosting confidence among students and building the right mindset to crack recruitment interviews. The Pre-Placement Training sessions aim to sharpen the skills of students for their successful placements. The sessions are conducted for days under the supervision of experts with relevant knowledge and experience from the industry, enabling the transformation of students from college life to industry-ready individuals. The University offers tailor-made training programs for every student to polish their communication and technical skills.

Students of the University occupy important positions in companies like Collabera Inc, Accenture, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Swiggy, Milliman, Bluestar Industries, Piaggio & C. SpA, Meditab Software Inc, KEC International, and many more.

Students at GIET University are provided with an inclusive range of amenities so that they can utilise them for academic and research purposes. The different teaching departments of the University ensure that students are provided with all the relevant resources in their respective fields. Additional information regarding Infrastructure and Facilities is given below:

• Classrooms: The University’s classrooms provide ample space for learning and the overall development of students. Each classroom has proper and comfortable seating arrangements along with LCD projectors. Each classroom can occupy around 200 students at a time whereas tutorial classes have the strength to hold over 30 students. LAN has been installed within the campus that allows students to discuss projects, academic topics, assignments, and many more.
• E-Learning Room: To support the studies and learning of students, the University has built E-learning classrooms. The University has adopted state-of-art technological innovations that enable faculty members to impart quality education and identify the real potential of students in academics.  
• Library: It is one of the most important amenities provided by the University that is utilised by the students to support their learning requirements. The library within the campus contains an E-Resource Centre, a reading lounge, and a two-storied book space for students.
• Laboratories: Students and Staff members of the University can perform experiments uninterrupted within the laboratories built with the necessary equipment. Each department has separate laboratories where students can learn practical and learning skills as per the prescribed curriculum. Laboratories provide them exposure to understand theoretical concepts more easily by performing practical’s.
• Seminar Rooms: The campus has multiple seminar rooms well-equipped with audio-visual amenities that assist the University in conducting conferences, cultural events, guest lectures, regular events, academic events, and other co-curricular activities. The teaching and learning environment in these rooms is supported by excellent sound, audio-visual, and lighting arrangements.
• Computer and ICT Facilities: To provide students an optimum exposure, the University has computer labs and other ICT amenities equipped with relevant infrastructure.
• Hostel: The hostels at the University provide students with a clean, comfortable, and familiar environment for living. Each Hostel provides students with facilities like Wi-Fi connectivity, mess, dispensary, water purifiers, and other necessary amenities required for a comfortable living.
• Transport: Students can reach the campus by the buses appointed by the University. These buses provide comfortable seating and run from one stop to another to pick up students.
