Kalka Dental College

Kalka Dental College has a lush green campus that is spread over 25 acres. The college is situated in a pollution free area that provides a fresh and peaceful learning environment to the students. The college has several state-of-art buildings, large lawns, properly maintained playgrounds and various modern facilities. Various events and festivals are also celebrated in the campus for creating a lively and engaging environment for students. These events include Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, New Year’s Eve, and more. Other amenities that are present in the college are listed underneath:

• IT Laboratory: The College has an IT lab that is used by students and teachers for different purposes. It is equipped with computers of the latest configuration required for effective teaching. Internet facilities are also available in the lab for catering to different academic requirements of the students and staff members.
• Library: The College has a properly stocked library that is upgraded with latest books and other learning resources on a regular basis. The library has a wide collection of books and it has also subscribed to various journals. In addition to this, it also provides access to different national and international e-journals to the students. The central library of the college is fully furnished and covers an area of approx 8000 sq.ft. It has sitting arrangements for more than 250 students at a time. Audio-visual aids and internet facilities are also available in the library. It has separate sections for UG and PG students.
• Hostel: The College has separate hostels for male and female students. The hostels have fully furnished and properly ventilated rooms for providing a home like environment to students. A common room is present in each hostel for offering recreational facilities like T.V, newspaper, and more. Facilities like Wi-Fi, gymnasium, indoor games, health clubs, and more are also available for students residing in the hostel. Round the clock medical facilities are also available in the hostel.
• Auditorium: There is a properly designed auditorium within the campus with a capacity to accommodate more than 500 students at once. Different cultural events, dental education programs, meetings and other activities are organised in this auditorium.
• Cafeteria: The College has a properly maintained canteen which offers a variety of meals, snacks and drinks to the students. Options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available at the canteen.
• Sports: Kalka Dental College is highly focused on the all around development of the students. It has large grounds for various sports like Football, Basketball, Athletics, Volleyball, and Cricket. The college also has a gymnasium, indoor sports complex and a swimming pool for promoting fitness and healthy lifestyle.
• Hospital: The College has established a 100 bedded hospital for fulfilling the medical needs of rural people and for providing practical exposure to the students.
• Other Facilities: Transport Facility, Mobile Dental Van and ATM Facilities are also made available for the students within the campus.
