SBSSU has a Training and Placement Cell which works to facilitate job opportunities for the students that match their profile. The Cell interacts with the industries and builds strong relationships to provide ample career opportunities for its students. The activities of the Cell are organised and managed by a team of faculty members having good academic and industrial experience. It arranges seminars, lectures by experts, career awareness programs, etc to make its students potent to face the industrial challenges.

The University campus is spread over 70 acres of land on NH 54 Bariar, Gurdaspur. The campus is located in a serene and calm environment and is well-connected by roads. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a leased line internet facility. The infrastructure of the university campus includes academic and administrative buildings, residential colony, hostels, shopping complex, and playgrounds. The infrastructure facilities available for students in the campus are discussed in the points below:

• Library: The Central library in the university has been catering to the information demand of its users since its establishment in 1995. It stocks 31,000+ volumes in 10,000+ titles. The library’s collection includes journals, text books, theses, newspapers, old question papers, research papers, publications, manuals, etc. The library is an institutional member of DELNET and TERI. Other facilities and services available for readers in the library are Book Bank, Photostat, Reading Halls, Newspaper and Theses Section, Reference and referral services, Conference, seminars, and new arrivals information, and more.
• Hostel: The University has four boys hostel and three girls hostel with single and triple sharing rooms. The on campus boys hostel can accommodate 1200 boys and the girls hostels can accommodate 500+ girls. Hostlers are provided nutritious food in the messes monitored by a committee of students. Special meals are made for students on festivals or special occasions. There are common rooms, and facilities for indoor and outdoor games for recreational purposes. The hostel campus has a gymnasium for the daily workout of its students. Besides student accommodation, residential accommodation is provided to faculty and staff members.
• Canteen: Catering to the food requirements of the students and staff, the university has a Canteen, Bakery shop, Verka Milk Booth, and NESTLE Nescafe Stall. Students can order meals, snacks, refreshments, bakery items, tea, coffee etc. within the university premises.
• Sports: The sports infrastructure of the university includes playgrounds for all outdoor games like volleyball, cricket, football, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, handball, lawn tennis, badminton, athletics, etc. The facilities for indoor games like chess, carrom, table-tennis, ludo, Chinese checkers are also available within the premises. Students actively participate in the Annual Athletic Meet and Inter branch sports competitions oganised by the university every year.
• Medical Facilities: A dispensary is functioning in the college premise with a doctor, staff nurse, pharmacist, and medical assistant to provide medical treatment to both students and staff. The dispensary is equipped with equipment like Oxygen cylinder, Dressing room, Digital thermometer, Stretcher, Glucometer, etc.
• Other Facilities: Computer Centre, Central research Laboratory, Central Workshop, Bank & ATM, Stationery and General Store, Courier, Photocopier, Transportation, and more.
