APIET offers B. Tech programs in the academic streams of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science & engineering. All B. Tech programs offered by AIET have a four year academic duration, and approved by AICTE. In order to qualify for any of the B. Tech programs on offer, the applicant has to clear the 10+2/Intermediate exam of an approved state or central board of education.
Additionally, the student must have had mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects and any one additional subject out of chemistry, biology, biotechnology, and computer science. Also, the student should have attained a minimum aggregate score of 45% in all the three subjects.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering incorporates three distinct facets for grappling with the technological challenges and barriers in the future. The mechanical engineering department provides sophisticated MAT, CAD and CAM laboratories equipped with the latest software and hardware.
At the same, the department takes pride in presenting full-fledged industrial engineering laboratory, vibration laboratory, machine tools laboratory, and other related labs. Mechanical engineering students have thorough access to production labs including but not limited to foundry, machine, fitting, and welding shops, refrigeration and air-conditioning lab, and noise engineering lab. The ME department collaborates with several establishments like NPTEL, RVM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Virtual Lab.
Students who’ve earned a B. Tech (ME) certification from the institute have found employment in automobile, automation, computer aided manufacturing, computer aided design, reverse engineering, and artificial intelligence sectors.
A good number of students that choose to pursue a B. Tech program of AIET opt to specialize in electrical engineering. Electrical engineering happens to be one of the oldest and time-honored segments of engineering. Virtually all industries, regardless of type or class, need electricity for day to day operations.

Electrical engineering students learn to devise, create, and upkeep electrical components and control systems as per prescribed specifications and configurations. The building housing the electrical engineering department also houses the electrical workshop, electrical measurement & instrumentation lab, power electronics lab, power system protection and high voltage lab. The candidates do assignments and projects in other labs including P.C.B. lab, electrical machine labs, and computer based power system lab, and electrical machine design lab.

The curriculum of B. Tech (computer engineering) has been designed in a manner that it takes into account the most recent developments in the IT industry. At the same time, the syllabus integrates the latest advances made in computing technologies so that students have in-depth knowledge about the current trends and patterns in computer engineering. Once a student is through with the B. Tech (computer engineering) program, he or she can explore job opportunities in hardware and software management, system & network administration, consulting, data protection, research and development etc.

The AIET also admits students for four distinct M. Tech programs with specializations in computer science, power system, electronics and communications, and mechanical engineering. Any student possessing a B. E. or B. Tech certification having achieved at least 55% marks in aggregate is eligible to apply. All M. Tech programs instill in the students a profound knowledge of theoretical subject-matters as well as the skills to apply the wisdom in real life.
