Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra has a moderately large structure spread across different parts of Agra city. There are four Campuses. Paliwal Park Campus Consists of various academic buildings like the University of Social Science, University of Library Science, etc. Khandari Campus houses the Engineering and all the Science buildings. Chhalesar Campus consists of the University of Pharmacy and the Department of Physical Education along with other buildings. Most Classrooms are moderately sized (for 50 students). There are various libraries on the campus. The main one being the Central Library on the Paliwal Park campus. The Canteens offer snacks and other items and are present on every campus. The sports and transportation facilities are not up to the mark but there is a free University health center which is good. I love the fact that there are well-maintained libraries and computer labs. Computer labs and availability or statistical software helps the most in my Course.

My overall campus life is pretty good so far. There are most of the facilities that I need for studies. There is a good atmosphere. The college crowd is well behaved and fun loving. There are regular non academic events like debates, etc. which are helpful. I take part in most of debates. The University also focuses on celebrating and doing an event on each day of cultural importance .There is Uni fest which happens everywhere and is an attraction. Dr BR Ambedkar University Agra is constructed in the old fashion and it is not upgraded since 50 years. So infrastructure is old but it is good. College is not situated in the single place, it is constructed on different places nearby. Like college classrooms are situated at a place and college hostel is one kilometer away from the classrooms. There is huge library in the University with old infrastructure and it is very well maintained even after 95 years. College has 2 hostels separated for boys and girls. Classrooms are clean but they do not have modern facilities.

Many festivals happen in BR Ambedkar University Agra and many students participate in the events. Annual fest does not happen in the college. But University celebrates Independence Day and Republic day as annual day in which students perform. Students celebrate each festival in the college whether it is Holi, Diwali, Eid or Lohri. Some of the clubs in the college are Spots Club, Arts Club, Chemisics, and Photography Club. There are many science workshops that are being organized in the university each year and many students participate in the workshops. This university may have many disadvantages but it gives unmatchable learning environment.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the university old and has very wide range of area. The road around the university is good. Some of the new buildings are under construction. The toilets are well cleaned and properly maintained by the workers regularly.

The Campus life is good. During free time, I along with my friend decided to explore the Taj Mahal and enjoy night life without any restriction. Ii also organizes events for the entertainment of the students. The Campus has greenery so there is fresh air.Read Full Review
