DBS has followed practical-based learning so far. It makes one more aware of the environment and the work that they are doing. The PGDM course is divided into 4 semesters and each semester has enough time for practicals, projects and theory lectures. Business school books are gigantic. I was in constant touch with one of my friends who made it to IIM-B. Being a little critical person, I used to share what and how we are taught with my friend every week and also used to learn what and how they are taught. Many may have reservations in what I say but the similarity was around 75%. I don’t think I need to say anymore as academics follow the footprints of some of the top B-Schools of the country.Read Full Review

PGDM of DBS is divided into 4 semesters. The course and structure is a bit different as the course has been divided well between theory and practicals. There's not like both at the same time as first the theory classes are done and once, we are done with that, we proceed with the practicals. This I felt as better so that we don't have too many questions inside our head as theory means we will be with theory sessions until they are done, and once the practical or should I say the fun begins, it too stays long.
