Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University - UTU Dehradun initially known by the name Uttarakhand Technical University was set up to impart knowledge in the education fields like Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, and more. Government of Uttarakhand laid the foundation stone of the university in 2005 and it is approved by AICTE and recognised by UGC.

Vision: The University’s vision is to produce socially responsible professionals competent in working in the integrative environment with the capability of invention and entrepreneurship by offering them top notch futuristic education, research, and outreach services.

Mission: Its mission is to set a benchmark in education processes and inculcate contrary skills with moral values by offering ultramodern education that meet the high standards of superiority in the knowledge distribution. It also aims to create entrepreneurship in cooperation with industries.

UTU Dehradun is the only affiliating university of the state for technical institutions and has established six campus colleges in the remote areas of Uttarakhand. It also has separate faculties for imparting education in Engineering, Management, and Pharmacy. The following list shows the institutes and faculties running under the university.

UTU provides various degrees at UG, PG, and Doctorate level like B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, M.Tech, LL.B, LL.M, BHMCT, MHMCT, etc.

Admissions to the university are on a condition that the students must fulfill the necessary educational and other requirements for the particular courses.
