Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore is a beautiful green campus located in Ettimadai, around 20 KM from the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the top premier institutions in India, ranking 7th in overall rankings as per NIRF. I have chosen this university due to several reasons. Comparing to other colleges, I found it to be more focused on self discipline, as well as its reputation it has developed in just a span of three decades. Their smart approach towards research development, academic performance over the years and overall co-curricular productivity has appealed to me. It has a good environment for learning, as it boasts a good student-to-faculty ratio as well as well developed laboratories and a big library. The curriculum is also updated on par with the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) syllabus, so as to facilitate students towards learning the trends of the ever-growing industry and its technological advancement. The infrastructure is also remarkable, with latest technologies built in the labs, projector screens in spacious classrooms, a large physical and digital library, as well as modern hostels. For future students, my personal opinion is that this university is a developed hub which presents a blend of quality education, innovation and moral support. It is also well committed to research as seen in recent times. Also, the global exposure with foreign universities from the United States and Europe through partnerships and student exchange programs further enhances our learning experience. It provides really great experience and the environment provided by the university in Coimbatore is of top class. It has a very holistic approach towards life in which they will impart education. The atmosphere and the climate are excellent in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The basketball and volleyball courts are excellent and the main ground has excellent mountain views.Read Full Review
