Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Coimbatore

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hostel is separate for male and female scholars. Eight hostels are present in the university with an accommodation capacity of 3500 students. The students have to reside in the hostels during the entire course except for those students who have their homes nearby the campus. No student should rent a house or lodge. Inmates are encouraged to perform yoga and take part in extracurricular activities.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hostel room facilities include:

• Single rooms are allotted to PG and final-year students only.
• Each student is provided with a chair with an armrest, a bed, and a chair in their respective rooms.

• The facility for ironing and laundry
• 24/7 power and water supply

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hostel food is pure vegetarian and hygienic food is served. Canteens and dining halls serve food to the scholars. Canteens are attached to the residential facility. Non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited and wastage of food should not be done.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hostel rules are as follows:

• The silence hours of the hostel should be followed.
• All rooms as well as common rooms should be kept clean.
• Any damage to the furniture provided by the hostel would result in a fine.
• Hostel timings should be properly followed by the inmates.
• The use of electrical appliances is banned. No iron, stoves, or kettles should be used by the inmates.
