Dr. Harisingh Gour University Sagar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

My campus is very big and its territory expands in 1360-hectare area. There is a Prof. M.L. Schroff seminar hall in department for conferences and events. There is a separate library for students of department to Pharmacy that is called ‘Jawaharlal Nehru library’ has thousands of books in addition to separate departmental libraries. As part of the infrastructure, my favorite place is new ‘Ranganathan library’ where all facilities are available for students to study like free Wi-Fi, peacefully environment, and drinking water.

Various extracurricular activities are held in Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya by the department from time to time. There are many events being organized like Alumni Association Ceremony and Dr. Harisingh Gour anniversary celebration in a grand level. In this event, various activities are held like music, dancing, poetry, domestic dances, essay writing competition, and many more. All the events are very enjoyable and enthusiastic. There is a good infrastructure. Each and every department is good looking but in some departments, there is an issue of cleanness in class rooms and boys washrooms which can be improved. Well-established library is there for students with lots of books. There is garden in the campus premises for refreshment of student.

The campus size of Dr. Harisingh Gour University is around approx 1300 acres. It is located in hilly area and has an excellent environment with a good quality of air. Dr. Harisingh Gour University has different amenities and facilities for the students to use, some of these are Library, 2 seminar halls, Auditorium, 1 conference hall for the B.Com students, etc. you will get Canteens called as TAPRI and it’s famous over here. The name tapri sounds funny but it's where you will able to have food or any computer related help and services. Overall campus of Dr. Harisingh Gour University having some more buildings like department of law, department of Persian language, Department of commerce my department, and few more. There is also a ground in the campus with proper sitting facilities for the students to relax.

There are no clubs in Dr. Harisingh Gour University and I think this is a point where the university lacks. Different festivals are also celebrated in the university. Along with this several events are also conducted here and students can participate in any fest or event of their choice. I have not participated in any event or fest organised here. At least 3 events were organised in Dr. Harisingh Gour University in a year. I would more focus towards studies and would like to say that I my overall experience at the university have been good till now.Read Full Review
