IFTM University was established in 2010 under IFTM University Act No. 24 to facilitate students with innovative and creative education pedagogy and training. The university is approved by AICTE and UGC, and it is recognised by PCI, NCTE, IIC, BCI, and ICA. It is also accredited by NAAC with grade “B”.

There are some other PG courses whose eligibility criteria and details are mentioned on the university’s official website. For taking admissions in UG courses, the candidates need to score a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and 5% relaxation is given to the students belonging to SC / ST category, however candidates who are going for BA-E.Ed (Integrated) and B.Sc-B.Ed, they need to have a score of minimum 50 % (45% for SC / ST category) and should have passed 10+2 with PCM or PCB.

The university values the importance of scholarships as it eliminates the financial burden on the students and provides them support in completing higher education. The university offers Government and Non-government scholarships to the students based on various eligibility criteria. The Government Scholarship offered by the university is especially given to SC / ST students with a family income of less than Rs. 2.5 lac annually. The government also provides scholarships to Minority / General Category / OBC with a family income of less than Rs. 2 lac per annum.

The university provides a special scholarship in which it provides a 10% scholarship to the Girl students for taking admission in any program. These scholarships are not available for courses like M.Ed, B.Ed, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.A-B.Ed and B.Sc-B.Ed.

To facilitate excellent placement experience and to impart professional skills and work & life balance in the life of the students, the university has established an active and effective Training and Placement Cell. This cell is responsible for shaping the future of the students by making them job-ready. It focuses on providing the students with an environment that offers job opportunities to both UG and PG degree holders. IFTM (Institute of Foreign Trade and Management) University is one of the premier b-School located Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1996 by Sri Onkar Saran Kothiwal and famous Dr. R.M. Dubey (renowned economist) as an institute and later in 2011, and later received University recoganisation by government of Uttar Pradesh. IFTM admission procedure is different for various courses. In the 2017-18 session the University has score NAAC Accredited as B.
The IFTM University has received the approvals & recognitions from UGC, AIU, PCI, NCTE and BCI. The central library is a heart of IFTM University.
