IFTM University hostel comprises separate boys’ and girls' hostels. Four boys' hostels which can accommodate over 600 students, and two girls' hostels, with a capacity of 400 students, are built within the University campus. Once the analysis of students is done and based on availability, rooms are allotted by the hostel committee. Thereafter, it needs to be approved by the Dean of Students Welfare and finalised by the vice-chancellor.
IFTM University hostel rooms are well-equipped with cupboards, chairs, study tables, and bookshelves. The university issues fans, bulbs, tubes, and almirah along with the hard furnishing at the time of admission. The student should return these in good condition at the time of vacating the hostel.
Some guidelines prepared for students seeking hostel rooms are-
Electric appliances/cooking machines are not allowed.
Fans, lights, and other electric appliances must be switched off before leaving the room.
Students of the opposite sex are not allowed to enter the room. Overnight guests are also not permitted.
Doors are to be kept locked at all times.
The safety of personal belongings is the responsibility of the student.

IFTM University hostel food is prepared in the mess under hygienic care. The mess offers self-service. For any hosteller with health issues, a special diet is prepared. Sweets are served only once per meal.
Mess rules to be followed are-
Breakfast should be done before 9.30 am.
Food from the mess cannot be taken to a room.
Going out for dinner is a big no. Allowed to bring outside food but to be eaten in their room with personal utensils.
Students cannot enter the kitchen.
For additional food supplies, advance payment is to be made to the superintendent.
IFTM University hostel rules and regulations are strictly followed, and for any kind of violation of law and order, the hostel authority has the right to take strict action. Rules chart states-
No refund is provided if any student vacates the hostel in mid-session.
Students cannot change the rooms allotted to them. If needed, permission from the concerned hostel warden is required.
No student can stay in the room during class/working hours without a warden's permit.
Boys cannot remain outside the hostel after 10 pm. Girls should enter the hostel gate latest by 7 pm.
Rooms, bathrooms, and staircase should be kept clean and tidy.
Pets are not allowed to enter the hostel premises.
Any kind of posters, writings, wall chalking, or slogan singing is not allowed.
Any damage to the hostel property, except the usual wear and tear, is feasible.
Maintain discipline and decorum.
The noise level must be low. Television or radio should be switched off or turned down after 10 pm.
Any student found involved in alcoholic beverages, smoking, drug consumption, or chewing tobacco is punishable and may be expelled.
Strict action will be taken against students creating an unpleasing environment or indulging in undesirable activities.
Permission from the head of the department and warden is required if any student wishes to go home or to another city for any reason.
Visitors, including parents/guardians too, should make necessary entries at the hostel gate.
For any student found missing for more than 24 hrs, a report to the superintendent should be made by the roommate.
The authorities hold the right to shift any student to it's another unit.
Picnics, social functions, meetings, partying, and political gatherings are prohibited.
Visiting the Park in front of faculty residences is not permitted.
The hostel management has the right to revise rules.
