The Design Village [TDV], Noida was established in the year 2014 as a Private Educational Institution. TDV Noida is approved by AICTE. The Design Village offers admission in the field of Design at UG/ PG level with scholarship benefits to deserving students. Sourabh Gupta is the Founder.
The Design Village was founded in 2014. It was established with a vision to empower students by providing a transformative and comprehensive educational experience. It also provides opportunities to students to engage in interdisciplinary learning, gain practical experience, collaborate with professionals, and establish global networks. It graduates creative and adaptable professionals with a global perspective to lead in the global design industry. Noida International University is the affiliating University of TDV. It has also collaborated with Domaine de Boisbuchet, France, and What Design Can Do (WDCD), and established partnerships with L’Ecole De Design Nantes, TU Delft, Politecnico Milano, and INK.
TDV offers Graduation program in B.Des with specialisation in Fashion and Textile Design, Product Design, Graphic and Communication Design, Interaction and UX Design, Space and Interior Design, and Transportation and Mobility Design, and Post Graduation program in M.Des with specialisation in Product Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Space and Interior Design, and Graphic and Communication Design. * Students must qualify the TDV Design Entrance Test. Selection of students is based on Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.
* Students willing to apply for Post Graduation are encouraged to share their portfolio during the interview.
Students are provided various scholarships by TDV. To avail scholarships, students must maintain 85% attendance (75% attendance for medical situations). Scholarships are based on merit for continuing years. Scholarships are provided based on different categories as mentioned below:

TDV provides internship & placement assistance to students in different companies. It also has a Design Cell which provides ready-to-execute solutions. Some of the companies offering internship opportunities to students include Deloitte, Jio, TATA Elxsi, Internshala, Jio, Vogue, Claymen, Wildcraft, Noise, Abraham & Thakore, etc.
Some of the recruiters providing opportunities include Kent Health Care Products, Instapower, Yatra, JCBL, Prachi Leathers, GoHive, CAYA, etc.
TDV has a Library which comprises materials on history, anthropology, literature, science, etc. It also supports design programs through its collection in architecture, design, and art. It has a cafeteria, hostels equipped with Wi-Fi enabled rooms, common areas, collaborative workstations, dining spaces, etc. It also has laboratories such as Fashion Lab, Mac Lab, Fab Lab, etc.
