Shri Ram College of Commerce [SRCC], New Delhi was established in the year 1926 as a Private Educational Institution, currently having 19th position in NIRF Ranking 2024. SRCC New Delhi is approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC-A++, and is affiliated with DU, New Delhi. Shri Ram College of Commerce offers admission in the field of Humanities and Commerce at UG/ PG/ Diploma level with scholarship benefits to deserving students. Prof. Simrit Kaur is the Principal.
The college was established in 1920’s, in the name of “Commercial College”, under the Commercial Education Trust, Delhi and in 1951, the college was renamed as “Shri Ram College of Commerce”. Earlier the college was affiliated to University of Delhi, and then it received the status of Degree College, for graduation in commerce. SRCC received accreditation from NAAC, with “A++” grade.

Mission: To promote academics & research related to commerce & economics, and help the national & international personalities to enhance their skill and abilities, through its research publications.
Shri Ram College of Commerce provides various UG and PG courses related to the subjects of commerce & economics, such as, B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) Economics, M.Com, MA Economics, PG Diploma in GBO (Global Business Operations). Apart from these some value added courses are also provided by the college.
For admission into SRCC, the candidates first have to fulfill the eligibility criteria and then only they can be considered for appearing in the examination, conducted by University of Delhi. The candidates wanting an admission in undergraduate course must have to appear in CUET (UG) exam, in the subjects they have appeared in 10+2 examination, and then they are to be admitted in SRCC as per the merit list based upon the cut off marks. Admissions into PG and diploma programs depend upon the result obtained by the candidate in the respective examination, as well as on the performance in personal interview and group discussion, held by the college.

Numerous scholarships are provided by SRCC, to the students who are merit holders or are really in need of financial assistance, for continuation of their academics. For candidates belonging from PwD category there is Aabhaas Hajela Memorial Scholarship; for candidates whose family income is less than or equal to Rs. 6,00,000 per annum, there is CB Gupta Memorial Scholarship & College scholarship (Need cum Merit Based), apart from these, there are certain other scholarships and fees concessions, for the meritorious and underprivileged students, such as Envision Scholarship, M.C. Shukla Scholarship, SRCC Alumni Association Scholarship, etc.
