One primary thing a business school student should be expert of is managerial skills. BFIT earlier promised to conduct extracurricular activities and workshops but did nothing as it said. Faculties themselves suggest that we should try to be more practical about our knowledge and not just blindly follow books. Saying this, they don't even teach properly, reading slides in lectures and not explaining it. In my opinion academics at BFIT VV might have a lot of scope for improvement that they should do for a student's future. During exams, we are given different hypothetical situations and asked what we would have done in that situation. To be honest, this develops a sense of awareness and silly mistakes can be avoided. Such activities should be arranged more frequently.

In BBA, which college has a mandatory rule of having 80% attendance. Well, at BFIT it has to be as they believe the students who will not attend the stupid classes will not pass. The reality is that assignments were given and classes meant submission or friendly talk but hardly any studies done. The professors would just keep churning the slide. We were promised many extra-curricular activities but only 20% of those happened. Nurturing of the students through academics was not done at BFIT and that will remain my main cause of concern.
