VIPS-TC is a good institute. Even though it is in a developing phase, the institute has made promising developments and achievements. It offers a variety of courses, excellent facilities and a separate building for the Law Department, which I am now a part of. Most of the faculty here is also supportive and cooperative. Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is situated in Northwest Delhi in Rohini. It is an excellent college because of the quality support provided by the teachers of the institution. VIPS has a really good crowd of students, mostly coming from well-to-do families as the fee is a little higher as compared to other colleges of Delhi University. To get into VIPS, one needs to give the entrance exam conducted by IP university for various courses. However, for many professional courses such as Law and Engineering, there is no separate entrance exam conducted by the IP Univeristy. Scores of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) are considered for admission in the colleges of IP University. There is also a provision of management quota in the colleges of IP university; though, only some colleges have these provisions and the cost to be paid ranges anywhere from 4 to 10 lakhs, depending upon the course and the college. VIPS too has a management quota, and many students even take admission through it because of the immense opportunities it provides. The fact that VIPS acts as a booster for our job hunting after college and our lives, makes it worth it to take admission in VIPS. There are two metro stations nearby college: Pitampura and Haiderpur, which are easily accessible for the students to come to the college. There are also many rickshaws available. The college overall provides a wide range of opportunities to widen your horizon in terms of knowledge, networking and event to participate in. There are many committees and societies in which student can participate and socialize and learn practical skills apart from just theory. VIPS would be an excellent choice if you want to do BA.LL.B.Read Full Review
