Starting off with how to get into VIPS for pursuing Law, there are two courses offered by VIPS, Bachelors of Business Administration + LLB and Bachelors of Arts + LLB. Both the courses have different subjects however; the Law subjects will remain the same throughout the five years of this course. If one wants to pursue Law after school, they will firstly have to give CLAT which is conducted in December however; the dates and pattern of the examinations keeps changing. The competition is tough and the seats are less thus, not everybody can secure a seat in National Law Universities, so they have to go for other good colleges. Private colleges are expensive and no good private college for Law is situated in Delhi except VIPS and other IP colleges. VIPS acquires top ranking of good Law institutes in Delhi. After giving CLAT, the same score and rank will be considered for admission in IP university. Lists are released in which one can check where they can get admission based on past year cutoffs. To secure seat in VIPS, one must get a rank of 18,000 in CLAT. If you are unable to make it through the cutoff, management quota can be opted for; some 10 lakh will be required to be paid and one can get admission in VIPS which is totally worth it. The academics at VIPS are really very good, teachers are excellent and they tell you everything from exams to the world outside of college. I am currently enrolled in BA.LL.B which is a 5 year integrated Bachelor of Law degree where you cover subject of BA as well as LL.B. To get admission in the course you must appear in CLAT examination held every year by Consortium of law. Then you should enroll in IPU admissions procedure and you may get this college depending on the cut off for the year. The college is great if you want to pursue law as it has a good faculty as well as various learning opportunities.Read Full Review
