The Ideal Training and Placement Cell (ITPC) of the Institute provides summer internship training and placement opportunities to the students. The faculty members of the Cell act as facilitators and provide the necessary assistance to the students in attaining career opportunities. ITPC of Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law organises the following activities to enlighten the students of the upcoming future opportunities and expand their networks:

The Cell makes every effort to groom and encourage the students to take part in on-campus and off-campus placement drives, job fairs, and the central placements organised by the affiliating University.

Students have been selected for internship and industrial training previously in Agile Capital Services, AIM India, Insplore Consultants, Internshala, Aptech, Bridge Group, Homeosphere, Enticement Infrastructure, Armour Enterprises, BOI Services, Coca Cola, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra, Several Chartered Accountant firms and NGOs, etc.

The Law students have been placed in reputed firms and under accomplished Advocates such as Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorney, K.N Singh and Associates, Indian Law Partners, S.S.Rana, Precinct Properties, Mr. Harin P Raval Sr. Advocate, Advocate Mukesh Chand, Advocate Abhishek Chandra Mishra, Clairvolex, H.S. Associates, Jamadagni and Associates, etc.

The aesthetically designed campus of Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law is located in a prime location at East Delhi. It is easily commutable to and from metro stations. The building is spacious and is contemporarily designed with ramps and elevators keeping in mind the mobility of differently-abled students. Entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and around 50 CCTV surveillance and approved fire safety measures to ensure the safety of students.

The air-conditioned lecture rooms of the Institute are equipped with smart boards, modern LCD projectors and AV systems to provide interactive learning experience to the students. Indoor game facilities such as carom, chess, checker, etc. are provided in the boys’ and girls’ common rooms.

The additional facilities offered to the students are listed below:

• Library: The departmental libraries of the Institute are air-conditioned and well-equipped with educational resources. Reference books which are prescribed by the University are available in the libraries. There are more than 13,946 books housed by the Management & IT library. Students gain updated knowledge through magazines, newspapers, and national and global journals. Students are provided access to the e-resources through membership of DELNET. The library of Legal Studies is well-stocked with approximately 12,153 books, periodicals, around 16 National journals, about 2 Global journals, newspapers and magazines. It has an active membership of the extensive online legal database of the Supreme Court Cases, American Centre Library and the British Council Library to provide in-depth practical knowledge to the students.
• Laboratories: The computer lab of the Institute is equipped with the latest peripherals, configurations and high speed Internet connectivity. It has a seating capacity of around 80 students.
• Auditorium: The main auditorium and the mini auditorium of IIMT New Delhi are fully air-conditioned and equipped with ultramodern facilities like smart board, audio-video aids, and LCD projectors. The main auditorium has an accommodation capacity of around 400 people.
• Moot Court: A moot court is available for the students so that they may get the guidance and simulation of an actual courtroom while participating in moot court sessions. The court is fully air-conditioned and equipped with requisite amenities. National moot court competition is organised by the Institute annually.
• Seminar Hall: It can accommodate approximately 100 people. The hall has ultramodern teaching-learning aids, and electronic devices to organise effective workshops, debates, seminars, personality development programs, etc.
• Conference Room: The air-conditioned room has been installed with a built-in sound system & digitally enhanced AV aids for delivering effective presentations. It has a seating capacity of about 60 people.
• Cafeteria: Students can enjoy tasty snacks at the canteen in their leisure time. The canteen also has a seating area for students.
• Sports: The Institute has an active sports club. The students and players of the club regularly participate in sports activities and tournaments held at different levels. The Institute provides sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, carom, basketball, chess, table-tennis, Chinese checker, football, track-n-field activities, cricket, volleyball, etc.
