Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Placements: Average & Highest Package 2024, Pune

IT pack, Banking sector and Pune corporate were the ones that were on the campus for the entire 2 years of my time. IT companies like MindTree, TCS, and Infosys had a great attrition ratio and therefore SIMS was an option for them given the marketing specialist that the college has produced over the years. The companies that have their base in Pune like Atlas Copco India, Tata Motors, and Bajaj Auto made sure that maximum students from our batch be it MBA, PGDM got placed. 100% placement is a myth. They never exist and that’s true for a reason. In our batch 85% students got placed and it may be less but not for sure. SIMS is often approached by the new start-ups and always welcomed fresh ideas. Hardly any student had work-ex which is common in MBA colleges and therefore the placement were little lesser than many other colleges. The average package was 8-9 lakhs per annum and top banks were the ones that needed marketing specials and they targeted many students. ICIC Bank got the better of me and 20 more as that was the company that recruited maximum students from our batch. Other than that Zomato, Reliance, MET Life, and PNB were some of the companies that showed conviction in SIMS students.Read Full Review

Though I passed out a few years back the placement during our time were unimaginable. Average package offered was Rs. 9 LPA. Top or the loyal recruiters of SIMS over the years have been Citi Bank, DCB Bank, and Deloitte among others. The roles that we got in the industries we were placed include manager, or marketing analyst. I did MBA in finance and operations and therefore my preferred bet was brokerage firms. CITI Bank is one of the oldest in the business and was lucky to get placed with them in my city Hyderabad. Almost everybody got the desired placements as there were nearly 100 companies that showed faith in SIMS students.
