Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pune

MBA has now become a residential program and therefore the hostel was there in the campus. Thankfully we had the choice in choosing the rooms as there were different sized rooms as per the members. The hostel life was great as the similar background made it easy to connect. North Indian is what you will find at the college in numbers and that made it easier at the hostel. The hostel also had a mess that served food that had North Indian menu in its list. The hostel was great as if I compare SIMS hostel to other MBA college hostels ours was lenient. First of all the time restriction was there but we were allowed to enter the premises by 11-11.30. If we went for a late night movie, we still managed to enter the campus at 2am. The rooms were huge and we had the choice of staying up to 4 in a single room. We all were army kids and had a great time at the hostel. Even we had some traditions like they are in the army. Challenges were thrown, sports were played, late night b’day celebrations and some leg pulling of the juniors. The food was great and had enough veg and non-veg options that I actually couldn’t try many restaurants in the Pune.Read Full Review

The college has a hostel in its amenities list. There are separate boys and girls hostels and both has more or less the same facilities. The rooms are spacious and were allotted on 2-3-4 sharing basis. I didn’t stay at the hostel so don’t know much about hostel life. The students did bragged that we had so and so and there was a party at the hostel but all I know there are strict rules in place. The food obviously has to be good as it’s the Ministry of Defense who looks after the quality of food being served.Read Full Review
