JNU has established an active and prominent Placement Cell that fulfills the overall placement expectations of the students. The cell provides a platform to the students that allow them to have mutual interaction with industry experts. It works in uplifting and enhancing the personality of the students and also helps to develop communicational, soft, technical, and professional skills. To prepare the students for jobs, the university organises pre-placement talks in which the students are taught about resume building along with mock interviews, GD, and aptitude tests. The cell has maintained professional relations with reputed non-government organisation, government organisation, public organisation, and other corporate institutes.
Some recruiting companies that have provided placement opportunities to the students of JNU are Samsung, Wipro, Genpact, Infosys, IBM, Google, Tech-Mahindra, HCL Technologies, HP, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, IntelliPaat, etc.
Located at New Mehrauli Road, Munirka New Delhi, the campus of the university is world-class and green. The campus is also close to the main railway stations of the city and inter-state bus terminal. IGI Airport is also located a short distance from the university. The university not only provides academic excellence to the students, but it also provides knowledge beyond classrooms. It has established multiple clubs that help the students in showcasing their talents and following their passions.
