Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Patiala

Our college has great hostels and residential facilities as it is a residential campus. There are six boys’ hostels and five girl’s hostels. These hostels accommodate almost 1000 to 1500 people and the rooms are in double sharing till the 3rd year and single rooms are given for the 4th and 5th year. There are separate messes for the boys and girls that provide food. There are recreational rooms with table tennis and televisions in every single hostel for the students to enjoy. Hygiene is maintained in the mess and food is prepared with delicacy. You can enter the campus till 12 in the night. I have been staying in the hostel for two and a half years now and it is the part which I have most enjoyed. There are six washrooms and four bathrooms on every floor and every hostel is of three floors with ground floor given to the physically disabled students. The hostel have all sorts of service provider cleaning is done thrice a week. The warden office is open twenty four hours for any difficulties that the students face. Geysers are provided for student convenience in the winters. Any problems of students regarding the maintenance of any hostel facility is resolved within two days of maintaining a complaint register and a complaint register is also maintained separately for the food that is being served.Read Full Review

There are hostels at RGNUL. These hostels are genuinely better than what I’ve seen at other educational bodies. The rooms are spacious, clean, and having AC. The buildings are designed pretty smartly. It doesn’t get unbearably hot in summers or freezing cold in winters, which is a relief. They have all the basic facilities you’d need, and the common areas are decent too. Overall, the hostels make for a really comfortable and stress-free living environment. We have a badminton court in boy’s hostel but there is no court inside the girl’s one.Read Full Review
