Situated in the capital city of Odisha, Maharishi College of Natural Law was founded in the year 1984. Initially, the college was imparting intermediate education to only boys in the fields of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Later on, the college was shifted to Shaheed Nagar in Bhubaneswar and started functioning in its own multistoried building. From the academic session of 1988-89, co-education was introduced. Maharishi College of Natural Law is affiliated with Utkal University and recognised by the Government of Odisha. Also, the college is accredited by NAAC. The college offers two-year and three-years courses in Science, Commerce, and Arts areas.
Vision: The vision of Maharishi College of Natural Law is to instil human values, ethics, and morality into the students and enable them to act as responsible citizens. This will make them face the competition of life and challenges of globalisation.
Mission: The main motive of the college is to promote competition, develop aptitude and interest in co-curricular subjects, update knowledge through teaching-learning method, and inculcate right values in the students for a healthy living.

Admission Process
The admission process at the college is conducted in the offline mode. Students are required to visit the college to collect the admission form and prospectus for the courses they’re interested in. These can be availed from the college office during the college hours i.e., 10.30 am till 2 pm. They have to make a payment in cash or in the shape of a bank draft drawn in favour of the Principal, Maharshi College of Natural Law, Shahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar. The application forms must be filled in properly, and attach a few documents. Students must submit the form within the 15 days of the publication of results of the qualifying examination. The last date is usually extended for the candidates who come from the other states.
