NIT Srinagar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure has its own Kashmiri style. The buildings are well painted in the front but there are some conditions too at the back. The academic blocks are very clean and include all types of laboratories for practical experience. The campus also includes its library where all the engineering books are kept, and students can study anytime between 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Classrooms are well-cleaned and include smart boards and Air conditioners for summers and winters.

Campus Life at NIT Srinagar is awesome and I am not disappointed in choosing this institute. We have clubs in every field from music to photography where you can showcase your extracurricular skills. We have 2 annual fests, a tech fest, and a cultural fest. Games tournaments (Sports and Mobile) are also being held here with other extracurricular activities organized on a regular basis. The infrastructure is exceptional in our institute. There is plenty of space for parking of vehicles. There are very well maintained classrooms which are equipped with smart boards. Heating and cooling systems are provided in every classroom. Seats are placed in such a way that no matter where one sits, the teacher will always have an eye on him.

The campus life is the best part of our institute. It not only has classrooms to study but playgrounds to lessen the burden of studies. A lot of parks are present with every hostel having a park in front of it. Well equipped gym is present in the campus. Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are offered.Read Full Review

The institute infrastructure is good but congested it is spread in 68 acres of area. The classrooms are very good and well maintained. They have projectors, smart boards and an AC in every lecture hall. We have 3 different types of classrooms which include Lecture halls, pre-fabricated halls and Hi techs. Our institute also has many labs where you can gain practical knowledge.

Campus life is very goo but the night life is average as students are not allowed to visit anyone outside after a cedrtain time due to security issues. There is no in-time for boys but for girls, the curfew is 9:00 pm. Nevertheless, for visiting the library the students can remain outside the hostel till 12:00.Read Full Review
