Established in the year 2003, Lloyd Law College has been approved by BCI & affiliated with CCS University, Lucknow. The college has been established under the guidance of Padma Shri, late Prof. (Dr.) N.R. Madhava Menon, who was a great personality in the field of legal education.

Lloyd Law College provides for a course structure related to legal education under which it provides for various UG, PG, and Diploma courses, such as, LL.B, B.A. LL.B, B.Com. LL.B, LL.M, and diploma courses in civil as well as criminal litigation skills.
The college provides admission to the students in various courses on the basis of eligibility criteria as decided by the college itself. Before applying into any program the students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

However, the given eligibility criteria is only the minimum qualification which a student shall possess while applying. The admission procedure is based upon the merit acquired by the students in various examinations such as CLAT/ LSAT-India/ AILET/ BHU/ JAMIA/ AMU, etc. or admission can also be provided to the students who score qualifying marks in “Lloyd Online Test and PI” (online/ offline), organised by the college. A dedicated placement cell is working for the future of students, in Lloyd Law College. It provides students with suitable internship opportunities in their preferred sector, in order to train them for the legal field. The students get opportunities for internship in litigation, corporate, banking and other similar sectors, through which they get a practical knowledge, which ultimately helps them in getting a preferred job position.
Till now various students have been placed with infamous institutions through the placement cell of the college. Around 200+ recruiters visit the college campus for placement drives, some of which are, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra & Luthra, Deloitte, HDFC, Amazon, Mahindra, AZB & Partners, Aditya Birla Group, etc. Several students have been placed in government organisations as well, which include, Ministry of External Affairs, NALSA, NHRC, Central Administrative Tribunal, etc.
The college has a green & clean campus, which is developed in order to maintain sustainability & environment protection. The campus of Lloyd Law College is home to various trees, medicinal & other useful plants. The college also takes tree plantation initiatives, every year into the campus, with honourable guests belonging from high courts as well as SAARC nations. The infrastructure of the college includes well equipped & fully air conditioned classrooms, lecture & conference halls, with latest ICT equipment, LCD Projectors, HD Sound Systems. The seating capacity of lecture halls is of about 400+ students, and are used for guest lectures, conferences etc.
The infrastructural facilities of Lloyd Law College also include Medical facility & facilities for Differently Abled students. Transportation facility is also provided to the students.
Lloyd Law College, also known as LLC, is a premier institute that is renowned for offering legal education to the future lawyers of India. It was started back in the year 2003, under the guidance of Professor N.R. Madhava Menon, who is also a Padma Shree awardee. Lloyd Law College is currently being run under the guidance of President Manohar Thairani.
The Lloyd law college has a few prestigious affiliations in its kitty. It is recognized by the Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from that it also has approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The college is located in the lush green area of Greater Noida. Noida being the knowledge hub has a few other institutions in the vicinity as well. It suits the students and provides an ideal environment for them to focus on academics. It is a clean and safe area, just 40 kms away from New Delhi. The institution is spread over a huge non-residential area of 4.5 acres.
Overview:
The Lloyd Law College was started with an aim to impart quality education. Growth and development of students was the main focus of the authorities and still is working on the same lines. Being a pioneer in law education, it has done some ground breaking work. With the law being in the limelight, diverse disciplines of this field of this are taught. It includes Environmental Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Laws and Jurisprudence among many others. In addition to law faculties, various other subjects like Economics, English, History, and Sociology are also taught. It is directed to give a complete integrated platform to the students so that they can get overall development.
It offers a special integrated five year BA.LLB to the students. Lloyd Law College allows students to choose courses of liberal arts with law subjects. This option of conjoined degree is not available in many institutions.
Collaborations:
The college has been instrumental in associations and collaborations with other institutes. It has managed to maintain healthy relations with both Indian and Foreign Universities. As for foreign collaborations, a MoU has been signed with Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), Tribhuvan University (Nepal), and Empowerment through Law of the Common People (Dhaka). Indian universities like National Law School of India University (Bangalore), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (Patiala), Society of Indian Law Firms, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India have signed MoU.
These associations have helped build them some strong bonds. They have proven to help the students in getting greater exposure and expanding their horizon. They get to learn the norms and rules being followed there and gain knowledge about them. It even helps in honing practical skills and placement of students.
Achievements:
Over the years, Lloyd Law College has been doing phenomenal work and had fairly achieved many recognitions. The college is recognized first in the state of Uttar Pradesh by CSR Law Survey of 2018. India today gave it the much-deserved title of 3rd best in North India. LLC is also placed at the 4th position all over India for research. Alma mater, Professor Menon’s relentless efforts have has also brought laurels and recognition to the institute.
