BA.LLB:
The college is among the few that provides this integrated course of BA with LLB. It is aimed to bring political, social and economic change through the help of law. The initial two years are related to the basic arts subjects, whereas the last three years focus entirely on the law subjects. Five years includes a total of 10 semesters. There are a total of 240 seats only; out of these, 180 seats are filled by Lloyd Entrance Test (LET). The remaining 60 are reserved for students who clear the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT).
This course is offered on the basis of the marks that a candidate has scored in 10+2 or any other equivalent examination. The minimum is of 45% marks. As per norms of the Bar Council of India, there is no age limit for the students. The process involves an entrance test (CLAT/LET), personal interview and then merit is considered to select the right students.
It must be noted that 5% of seats are reserved for backward classes.
LLB:
The LLB program is a 3-year course. It is given on the basis of marks scored in graduation in any given discipline. The pattern of academics must be 10+2+3,and the student must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45%. The selection of students is entirely based on the scores of LET and then personal interview.
