Shri Davara University

Shri Davara University Raipur is dedicated to providing the necessary pre-placement training to the students to enhance their chances of employability. It has established a Training & Placement Department (T&P) to up-skill the students and facilitate them with the best placement opportunities. It has tie-ups with industries and organisations from multiple sectors. The Cell acts as a bridge between the students and the potential recruiters.

The representatives from the National companies and the MNCs visit the University to conduct campus placement drives & hire the best nurtured young talents. Students are also facilitated with internship opportunities and to work in live projects.

The T&P Cell conducts various pre-placement activities in order to professionally groom the students. The activities are:

• Written Tests
• Interviews

Shri Davara University has a well-developed infrastructure. The classrooms of the University are spacious and the campus has a high-speed internet connection.

The available facilities at the University campus are as follows:

• Library: The library is stocked with educational resources in printed and digital formats such as books, magazines, journals, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, bibliographies, CDs, audio-visual cassettes, etc. It has subscribed to the e-consortiums of the British Council library, IEEE, J-gate, Shodhganga, DELNET, Law Pundits, e-ShodhSindhu, Manupatra, etc.
• Laboratories: The University has top-notch lab facilities with basic and sophisticated tools & instruments to equip the students with high quality practical knowledge and training. Various departmental laboratories and workshops are present in the University for departments like Pharmaceutical, Science, Engineering departments, etc.
• Auditorium: There are around 5 auditoriums in the University campus. These are equipped with ultramodern facilities such as ACs, light arrangements, screens, green room, video players, and emergency services. The auditoriums are utilised for academic purposes and to host cultural events.
• Seminar Hall: The University has around 4 seminar halls which are equipped with air-conditioners, AV aids, etc. and have an accommodation capacity of approximately 300 students in each seminar hall. Various seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs are organised here.
• Sports: The University has adequate sports infrastructure. Facilities for games such as hockey, basketball, volleyball, cricket, Kabaddi, ball badminton, shuttle, chess, table tennis, weightlifting, carom, etc. Students actively participate in the tournaments held at Collegiate, University, District, State and National levels.
• Other Facilities: Swimming pool, etc.
