MZLC organises counseling sessions to guide the students about career choices and job opportunities. Special training programmes are arranged by the college for the personality development of the students. Guest lectures by judges and practicing lawyers are organised to provide insights about the industry. Moot court competitions are also organised to equip students with litigation skills.

The College arranges visits to Trial Courts and High Courts to help students understand the practice of law and the protocol of the courts. Along with this, MZLC Pathanamthitta is connected with various Courts and NGOs for facilitating internship opportunities to the students.
