Sapthagiri NPS University was established in the year 2001 as Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Bangalore. It is approved by the UGC as a Private University in 2023. It provides abundant UG and PG Degree courses. The University is NAAC accredited, and also approved by AICTE.

The University provides the Scholarship to the students of Indian Nationals in different categories. It aims to provide scholarships to aid the students in achieving success uninterrupted. Scholarships are provided to the academic achievers, sports achievers, and those having physical disabilities on the basis of merit.
Scholarship Application Process:
The scholarships are reviewed on a regular basis by the SNPSU Bangalore Scholarship Committee. They are responsible for the selection and renewal process of the scholarships. The candidate must collect the Scholarship Form from the University’s Admission Office. The candidate can apply for only one category that they are eligible for.
Scholarship Selection Process:
The Applicants will be designated on merit basis. The shortlisted students must accept or reject the scholarship offer letter produced by the committee before the deadline or it will be considered null and void. The scholarship is strictly non-transferable.
SNPSU Bangalore has a Placement Cell that functions round the clock in motivating the students’ progress towards transformation and entrepreneurship.
