The Kaavery Nursing College

At Kaavery Nursing College, equal priority is given to the academics and overall personality development of the students. To nurture them well, the college has various infrastructural facilities and amenities for the students. The following are the various infrastructure available for the students:

• Hostel: The institute has separate boys and girls hostels which feature all kinds of basic amenities essential for a comfortable stay. The hostels have 24 hours water supply, comfortable rooms that accommodate 3-6 students, hygienic hostel mess, kitchen, separate dish washing area, and so on. There are also drying and ironing facilities and separate rooms for reading and indoor games. There is security for all hostels and students can get veg as well as non-veg food at the hostels.
• Transport: The college has a fleet of buses that help students and faculty. These buses run in various routes and experienced and authorised drivers are in charge. There are a total of 34 bus routes in different directions.
• Laboratory: Several relevant laboratories have the latest instruments essential for the practical classes. This includes labs like fundamentals of nursing, maternity labs, AV Aids lab, nutrition lab, anatomy lab, computer lab, community health nursing lab, medical surgical nursing lab, and child health nursing lab. There are ample models, instruments and experienced lab assistants who supervise the students in every step.
• Canteen: The college has a functional canteen that serves healthy and delicious food to the students during the college hours. There are a variety of dishes available at the canteen and it is available at nominal rates for both the students and the faculties.
• Cultural activities: Occasionally, the college organises various events throughout the year that engages and educates the students. This includes mass education awareness programs, marathons, health camps, nurses day celebrations and so on.
• Sports: The college offers different indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students. Annual sport day is conducted wherein there are provisions for various activities related to physical fitness at the college.
