MATS University (also known as Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science University), Raipur established in 2006 is a Private University. MATS University is located in Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh and was started back in the year 2006. The university has approvals for its courses from the NCTE, AICTE, as well as BCI. The university is a member of the AIU and is recognized by the CGPURC as well as it is graded by the NAAC. It is the oldest private university in the state and has been consecutively provided with a place among the top universities in the country. For both Male and Female students: 10% of fee concession is offered to the students if they have scored marks between 60% to 80% in their last examination.
For physically challenged students: The physically disabled students are offered with a scholarship in the form of a tuition fee concession but the percentage of the scholarship is offered according to the decision of the chancellor.
Alumni Scholarship: It is offered to the siblings of the alumni of the university. And a fee concession of 10% is offered to such students for a year at the university.
Domicile of Gullu (Village): The residents of Gullu village are offered a fee concession on conditions, the students have to opt for B.Tech courses at the university and the fees should not be more than ₹50k per year to be eligible. And for the students have to opt for law courses at the university and the fees should not be more than ₹85k per year to be eligible.
Special scholarship: It is offered to the students who have scored more than 50% marks in the last examination and one of their parents is an employee of a corporate house and is offered a fee concession of 20% for the year.
For the wards of MATS University employees: It is offered to the wards of employees of the university and they are offered a fee concession of 20% on the total fee of the year. It is applicable to all courses except the professional and research programs.
Economically weak section: It is offered to the students from the economically weak sections of the community and the percentage of the scholarship that is to be offered is decided by the administration of the university.
