Mahaguru Institute of Technology

MIT has a Training and Placement Department which trains students in different areas to make them more employable. MIT maintains relationships with the national and multinational companies to conduct campus placement drives.

The department creates awareness about the industry expectations and requirements among the students by conducting various industry-institution interaction programs.

Students from Mahaguru Institute of Technology have been placed in following companies: Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Quest, Cognizant, HCL, Dell, CSS Corp, TCS, Trenser, etc.

The lush green campus of Mahaguru Institute of Technology is constructed on an area of around 12 acres. Classrooms and seminar halls at the campus have ICT facilities.

Along with that, MIT Mavelikara is equipped with these facilities:

• Library: The Institute has a Central Library and Information Centre (CLIC) which is resourced with books, national & international journals, project reports, standards, newspapers, and magazines. Digital library subscribes to NDLI, KNIMBUS, etc. Reading room facilities, photocopying facilities, and OPAC services are available at the library.
• Laboratories: A computer center is set up with modern facilities and it is equipped with hi-tech systems. The Campus has around 30 well equipped laboratories with high-end equipment. It includes:
  • Environmental Engineering Lab
  • Material Testing Lab
  • Machine Tool Lab
  • Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Lab
• Hostel: Safe and comfortable accommodation is provided to male and female students separately. Spacious and furnished rooms are allotted to the students. Modern kitchens at each hostel are available which provide healthy meals to the hostellers. The hostels have laundry service, indoor and outdoor games facilities, TV, reading room, power backup, etc.
• Cafeteria: The Institute’s cafeteria serves North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese Cuisines at reasonable prices to the students.
• Sports: MIT Mavelikara contains adequate indoor and outdoor games facilities for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, etc. Inter collegiate sports tournaments are conducted by the institute. Moreover, there is a gym in the institute premises equipped with modern fitness equipment.
• Transportation Facilities: The Institute has its own air-conditioned buses and vans with Hydraulic doors and comfortable seating for the conveyance of the students.
• Other Facilities: Medical Facilities, Conference Hall, Book Store, Yoga Centre, etc.
