• The students need to apply every year for readmission to the hostel.
• Making arrangements for extra furniture in the room is not allowed.
• The students cannot change their rooms or exchange furniture.
• Any damage to hostel property or furnishings will be fined double the actual cost of the item or repair.
• Electronic appliances are not allowed in the room.
• The students are asked to switch off electronics when not in use.
• The students can use table lamps if required after the lights are off.
• Wasting tap water unnecessarily is punishable.
• The hostel authority can at any time inspect the rooms.
• The hostel authority is not liable for any loss or theft of the personal belongings of students.
• The students cannot change the lock and key. In case of loss of keys, they may get duplicate keys done only after the warden's permit.
• For night outs or outings, a written permission application is required to be submitted with the signature of the local guardians or by fax/email from parents or guardians to the head of the department.
• With prior permission, the students can celebrate festivals and may also take part in competitions held outside. No outside guests are entertained.
• The students can keep their belongings in the cupboard under the lock before going on vacation. They can also be kept in a common storage area for limited quantities.
• Visitors are allowed only in visitors' lobbies.
• If any student wishes to skip any meal of the day, he/she must inform the mess supervisor in advance.
• Ragging in any form is a severe offense.
• Students indulging in gambling, alcohol consumption, or other inappropriate activity may be expelled from the hostel.
• Misusing online social media or Internet services is punishable.
• It is mandatory to maintain silence on the premises and keep the campus clean.
• Every day the registrar takes attendance between 10 pm- 10.30 pm and on Sundays/holidays till 11.30 pm.
• The allotment of the hostel is till the completion of the academic year.
