It is not allowed to roughly handle the dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, or any other furniture, fittings, or property of the hostel.
Students must note their movements to and from the hostels in the movement register.
The hostel will have daily attendance. Every day at 10:00 pm, attendance is required. Every Hosteller must be present in their rooms at all times.
It is strictly forbidden to have alcohol, drugs, or weapons in your possession.
The hostel's grounds, including the rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, must remain quiet at all times.
Students must not use rude, abusive, or unparliamentary language on the hostel premises.
Students must not participate in ragging. The university campus and the dormitory complexes both forbid smoking.
Gambling, including playing cards, is not allowed in any form.
Day boarding students cannot stay in the hostels. Day boarding students should not be encouraged to enter by hosts.
Students must not arrange birthday parties or other gatherings inside the dorm rooms.
Students must not play cricket and other outdoor games in the dorms.
Students must turn off the fans, electrical devices, lights, etc. should be turned off while leaving the rooms.
Guests must not enter the hostel after the gate closes without authorisation.
Arriving late regularly will not be permitted at the hostel. Boys' dormitories will close at 10:00 p.m. and girls' dormitories at 9:00 p.m.
Water needs to be used wisely and not wasted.
A wrong entry, acting on someone else's behalf and marking proxy attendance is not allowed.
Without prior authorisation, students cannot keep any power-driven, two or four-wheeler vehicles on the hostel grounds.
Students should only visit the hostel office during open hours. Students should read the circulars posted on all Notice Boards.
Hostellers cannot stay in their rooms during University or College class hours.
Only students who register their names with the hostel warden will be permitted to eat mess food in their rooms while they are ill.
All girls will be allowed a night pass if their parents ask them to see a nearby guardian.
It is the hostellers' responsibility to protect their possessions. They are warned not to keep too much money or valuables in their rooms, including gold, pricey watches, etc. Additionally, they need to look after their purses, calculators, mobile devices, laptops, and books.
