The JECRC University courses are available in 10 disciplines, each having its own process of selecting interested students. Students are evaluated on various criteria like written tests and interactive sessions. Admission procedures and policies are stringent and non-discriminatory to ensure that the education standard of the university remains high. Only meritorious students are granted admission; however, there is some flexibility for students belonging to minorities. Courses in Engineering
In this discipline, there are Under Graduate (UG) Courses, Graduate Courses and Post Graduate courses as listed below. Students can select a course based on their eligibility and interest. There is a good scope of all the engineering domains.

JECRC University admission procedure for a UG course is as follows.
1) First preference is given to those candidates who have valid JEE Mains score conducted by CBSE.
2) Admission to seats that stay vacant shall be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination by considering all mentioned subjects.
Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) - Lateral entry: This program is designed for students who can get a direct entry to B.Tech Second Year.
Eligibility: It is open for all students who fulfill the following criteria.
Admission Process: Admission is based on the merit in the qualifying examination by considering all subjects.
Eligibility: Eligibility Clause for Transfer Admission to 3rd, 5th and 7th Semester in B.Tech- A candidate needs to pass all previous semesters from a Private College affiliated by State Universities or any recognised University under UGC. The candidate also must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics.
Admission Process: The admission process is as follows:
1) A candidate should have passed in all papers of either I/ II/ III year (as applicable) for transfer admission to the III/ V/ VII semester of a B.Tech degree program.
2) A candidate must submit Transfer/ No Objection (NOC) or Migration Certificate from the previous college / University during admission at JU.
3) An application will be appraised by the Equivalence Committee for needed recommendations and has to be approved by the President. Admission(s) are governed by the rules and regulations of the University and the President's decision is treated as final.
Post Graduate (PG) Courses: The Master of Technology (M. Tech) degree is a two-year program with 18 seats each in the following five subjects:
Eligibility: A minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor Degree or equivalent. A 5% relaxation is permissible to all candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
Admission Process: First preference is given to those candidates producing a valid GATE score. Seats that are left will be filled based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. JECRC University Fees in detail can be checked on university website.
Ph. D in Engineering: Ph.D. in Engineering is awarded in specialised fields of:
Eligibility: Minimum 55% marks in Master's Degree.
Admission Process: Application for a Ph.D. programme can be made against advertisements that are made once in a year as per available seats. The JECRC University Entrance Exam is also takes place once in a year. There are many types of research candidates.
Courses in IT and CA: There are both Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in this discipline.
