Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University - RTMNU Nagpur has been providing top notch education since its establishment in 1923. Presently the university boasts of 46 Postgraduate Teaching Departments, 3 Constituent Colleges, and 503 affiliated colleges. It is approved by UGC with a state university status.

Mission: Its mission is to provide education at par by following the principle of social equality with the support of excellent faculty, latest infrastructure, and modern technology. It also aims to nurture and upgrade the skills of individuals and staff.
RTMNU provides degrees in various UG, PG, MPhil, and Ph.D courses in various disciplines under multiple departments which are headed by the following faculty heads.
The long list of the degree courses provided by the university includes MBA, DBM, M.Com, MA, M.Sc, B.Tech, B.A.LL.B, B.Pharm, B.Sc, B.A, B.E, B.Arch, etc in various disciplines.
Admissions to all the programs offered by the university are based on merit and the rules of the university. The University follows the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) administered generally in the month of June or July every year. Also students must present an Eligibility Certificate, Migration Certificate and upload the required documents at RTMNU official website.

Students desirous of pursuing Ph.D courses in the university in addition to the relevant Master’s degree must qualify in the NET / SET / PET (Ph.D Entrance Test conducted by RTMNU). Details and notifications regarding the entrance test are available on the official portal of the university.

There is a Placement Cell for almost all the departments which drives its efforts to place its students in getting their desired jobs. RTMNU Nagpur premise is sprawling over an area of 373 acres comprising 7 lush green campuses with natural surroundings, heritage building, gardens, and enriched biodiversity.
