Dispur College has a Career Counselling and Placement Cell which organises various activities to develop the personality and professionalism within the students. The cell works intensively on industry-oriented development of students and prepares them for their chosen career by organising various Guidance Sessions under the supervision of corporate experts. The college also conducts soft skill training for its students to enhance their interpersonal proficiency.

To enhance the students knowledge regarding industries, the cell organises various seminars, meetings, industrial visits and conferences at State, National, and International Levels.
