GNLU Silvassa

The law students at GNLU Silvassa receive holistic education and practical training during their course. The students actively participate in the Moot Court competitions held at University, State, and National levels. They are judged upon by accomplished legal experts and provided with the relevant feedback to grow in their legal profession. They are motivated by the Placement Cell of the University to participate in the following events:

Participation in these events leads to the multifaceted growth of the students. It prepares them to outshine in the future opportunities and have a successful career in law and legal affairs.

The Placement Cell of the University has tie-ups with many corporate houses, legal firms, district courts, high courts, and NGOs. The Cell is proactive in creating internship and job opportunities for the students. The Alumni Network of the University is quite established and it provides mentorship to the students and helps create job opportunities for them.

GNLU Silvassa has state-of-the-art architecture and infrastructure. The facilities provided by the University include well-equipped research centres, classrooms with advanced teaching aids, etc. Medical assistance is available to the students round the clock. Cultural events and co-curricular activities are hosted in the garden area of the University.

• Library: The spacious library of the University houses a collection of books, journals, articles, research databases, and other study resources. Students can also access the e-library.
• Auditorium: The auditorium is used to host many events. It has modern audio-visual systems and surround sound infrastructure.
• Cafeteria: There are plenty of food options available to the students and the staff.
• Hostel: The Hostels of the University are air-conditioned. It has separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The mess is common for both the hostels. The hostels are safeguarded by the security guards and the wardens round the clock. The housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the hostels. Furthermore, laundry services are also provided by the hostel at minimal cost.
• Sports: Many sports and athletic contests are organised to keep the students productive and physically fit. The Sports Coach of the University is devoted to preparing the interested athletes to compete in different tournaments.
• Transport: Bus facilities are available for the students.
• Other Facilities: The University has a Sports Complex nearby hostel, where the students are given the access to various activities including gymnasium, swimming pool, cricket, table tennis, yoga, marathon running, etc. on membership basis. The students here are trained by the coach to improve their physical health and wellbeing.
