To facilitate the students with smooth and excellent placement services, the university has established a full fledge Placement Cell. This cell works in providing placement opportunities to the students by contacting and inviting various national and multinational companies for on and off campus placement drives. It provides a platform to the students where they can connect with the companies and organisations to build personal and professional connections. Students get the chance to be placed at various sectors like Central, State, Government, Private, Public, etc.
The university has also established an Employment Information and Guidance Bureau that keeps a note of all the upcoming recruiting events and updates the students about the same. This bureau also helps the students with their competitive examinations as it provides coaching classes and vocational courses to the students. Students are also provided with career counselling sessions for better understanding of future. To equip the students professionally, seminars, conferences, workshops, industrial visits, etc. are conducted by the cell.
Located at Jnanasahyadri, Shankaraghatta, Karnataka, the Kuvempu University is built in an area of 230 acres of land. The whole university is surrounded by greenery and the main building of the university is set up on a hillock which sets a landscape view for the students. The campus of the university is pollution free, student-friendly, and provides excellent exposure to the students. To provide a safe and sound campus environment to the students, the university has come up with various cells like Backward Classes & Minorities Cell, ST/ SC Cell, Sexual Harassment Redressal Cell, Women’s Grievances Redressal Cell, etc. All these cells work in enhancing the experience of the students in the campus and also work in promoting equality and equal opportunities to all.
The university also holds an Art Gallery and Museum that consists of various rare sculptures, manuscripts, paintings, and antiques. To organise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students, the university has established a Co-Curricular Activities Association.
