Global Institute of Sports Business [GISB], Mumbai was established in the year 2018 as a Private Educational Institution. Global Institute of Sports Business offers admission in the field of Management and Humanities at Diploma level with scholarship benefits to deserving students. Gaurav Modwel is the Chancellor.
With the sole mission of empowering the next generation of sports professionals with suitable skills, employability, and connections, the Global Institute of Sports Business laid its stone in the year 2018. It is a sports management institute which aims at providing individual growth, generating sector impact, and encouraging student employability. The vision of the institute is to be able to maintain a balance between academics and sports through the programs that are being offered.
The institute offers PG Program in Sports Management and Executive PG Program in Sports Management.
For admission to the courses offered by the institute, the candidate must go to the official website and click on the “Programs” tab on the home page. They will be redirected to the page where they must select the option for “Apply Now” from their desired program. The candidate is then expected to fill out the application form.
The selection is done based on the Personal Interview (for the PGP students) and reviewing the application (for the EPGP students) after which the selected candidates would receive an offer letter for admission into the institute.
Numerous scholarships are provided at the institute on the basis of financial need and proficiency in sports. To avail the benefits of the scholarships a research project / presentation / report has to be submitted to the GISB Admissions Committee that must display the proficiency or financial need.
