Ishan Institute of Pharmacy

Affiliated with AKTU, Lucknow, the Ishan Institute of Pharmacy was set up under the aegis of Ishan Educational Institutions. The institute has been accredited by PCI and BTE. The vision of the institute is to achieve top standing in providing excellent Pharmaceutical Education. It aims to provide quality education to develop skilled professionals who can impart the best treatment available to the individuals.

The courses that are available at the institute are Bachelors of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) for the duration of 4 years and 2 years respectively.

For seeking admission into the D. Pharm course offered at the institute, the candidate must have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks with either PCB or PCM subjects. The candidates who qualify the State Entrance Examination UPJEE Lucknow are also eligible to apply and get admission through the counseling process.

The documents required at the time of admission are:

• Class 10^th and 12^th Mark Sheets
• Aadhar Card (Candidate and Parents’ / Guardian)
• Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate
• Category Certificate for SC / ST / OBC / EWS categories (if any)
• Counseling Letter/ Allotment Letter (if applicable)
• Character Certificate from the institution last attended

The institute awards numerous scholarships and financial assistance to the students on certain criteria. Partial to full waiver on the tuition fee is provided to the students. The basis on which the scholarships are granted are as follows:

• Merit Scholarship: Up to 100% scholarship is provided on the basis of the students’ performance in academics, co-curricular, sports, and performing arts.
• Sports Category Scholarship: The candidates with a National or International level achievement in sports activities are granted a scholarship of up to 10 – 80% in the 1^st year.
• Sibling Scholarship: 5% scholarship is provided in the 1^st year to the students whose sibling is an existing student at the college. The relation proof is required to avail this scholarship.
